Paul J. King

Paul J. King, age 88, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at his home.
He was born January 12, 1930, in Limaville, Ohio, to Melvin S. and Gladys N. (Bell) King.
Paul was employed as a mechanic and then a press operator at GM Lordstown Plant until his retirement in 1992.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Beloit, enjoyed working in his garage, and beef and grain farming. He loved going to church and his dog, Sid.
Paul was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and had served during the Korean War.
He leaves behind his wife, Margaret (Laughery) Niner King whom he married April 25, 1998; sons, Kenny (Theresa) King and Terry (Tammy) King, both of Alliance; grandsons, Cody King (fiancé, Shelley) and Nicholas King; step children, Donna McKay, Robert Niner and Patricia Hoffmaster; 10 step grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen (Walter) Gantz, Ester Hoover and Olive Hensley.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; step daughter, Pam; and siblings, Allen, George, Marie and Wayne.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Kirsch officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday March 4, 2018, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park,
