Patricia A. Walborn, age 88, of Alliance, died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Bel-Air Care Center.
She was born May 14, 1924, in Alliance, Ohio, to James L. and Daisy Aileen (Lane) Anderson and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
A 1943 Alliance High School graduate, Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church and past member of the BPOE Ladies Auxiliary and the Eastern Star Sebring Chapter.
Survivors include her three daughters, Margaret Ash of Kent, WA, Christine Walborn of Truckee, Calif. and Nancy Walborn of Alliance; two sons, Bruce Walborn of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Andrew Walborn of Alliance; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Jacqueline (John) Benincasa of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale E. Walborn whom she married October 23, 1944 and who died April 13, 1973; daughter, Ellen Peters; sister, Mary Aileen Armstrong and brother, James Anderson.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Rhodes of First Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Private family interment will take place at Alliance City Cemetery.
