Patricia A. Summers

Patricia A. Summers, age 85, passed away on July 7, 2025.

She was born on August 18, 1939, in Alliance, to Chester A. and Thelma (Russell) Elliott.

Patricia graduated from Alliance High School in 1957. She worked in records at Alliance Police Department for 22 years until her retirement in 2005. Pat was a member of Science Hill Community Church and attended the Tuesday services at First Christian Church in Alliance. She was also a member of many organizations including the VFW post 7490 Auxiliary (life member), American Legion Post 66 Auxiliary (life member), past President of VFW Post 1036 Auxiliary, Past 6th District President of the VFW Auxiliary, Carnation Dazzlers Red Hat Society, and the BPOE 467 Elks Auxiliary.

Pat loved playing the Las Vegas slots, watching baseball and football and word search puzzles. She also enjoyed listening to classic country music.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Diane (Jason) Mitchell and Beth (Dale) Miller; son, William Hartenstein; grandchildren, Carlee, Caleb and Camryn Mitchell, Joshua, Sarah and Nicholas Hartenstein, Brittany (Nick Dicesare) Rhodes ; great-grandchildren, Logan, Adelynn, Bailey, Emberlee, Athena, Lucas, and Benjamin; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Andy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; brother, William R. Elliott; and sister, Donna Ermlich.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, July 11th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
