Patricia A. Ruhl-Rhome

Patricia A. Ruhl-Rhome, age 80, of Alliance, passed away at 3:27 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her home.

She was born June 30, 1939 in Alliance, Ohio to James C. and Isabella (Cobbs) Smith.

A graduate of Sebring McKinley High School in 1957, Patricia worked as the treasurer of Ruhl Electric since 1970 and treasurer and Vice-President since 1999.

A member of First Friends Church of Sebring, Patricia was a member of the Alliance Senior Center.

Most importantly, Patricia adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She found God’s beauty in all things, and loved her family.

Survivors include her son, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Ruhl Jr. (Tracy); 3 granddaughters, Patricia E. Ruhl (Bryan Modzelewski), Angelique E. Ruhl (Frank Ranalli), and Sara E. Ruhl; great-grandchildren, Juan Pablo, Kenneth, Traci; brothers, David F. Smith (Eileen), Herbert A. Smith (Ona); sisters, Rose Marie Hughes (Bill) Evelyn Shreve, and Dorothy J. Chapman and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth W. Ruhl Sr. whom she married December 14, 1957 and who died July 14, 2001, second husband; Arthur Rhome who passed away May 14, 2004 ; brothers, Robert Smith, Roland Smith, J. Paul Smith; sisters Mary Spencer, Gladys R. Ritchie, and Marie Smith

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, or First Friends Church of Sebring.

Private services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday April 17, 2020 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, with Lynn Moore officiating. Private visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

Family and Friends are encouraged to gather at Highland Memorial Park Friday at 2:30 to pay their respects to Patsy as the procession arrives.
