Patricia L. Pickerel

Patricia L. Pickerel, age 84, passed away on May 5, 2026. She was born on August 8, 1941, in Sistersville, WV, to Ronald and Nora (Stolarik) Haught.

Patricia loved quilting, crocheting and doing others crafts. She won awards for her paintings at the State Fair.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Edward and Steven (Penny Collins- her special friend) Pickerel; four grandchildren, Holly (Aaron) Hunt, Zachary Pickerel, Jack Pickerel, and Elyse Pickerel; four great-grandchildren; six sisters, Sue Armstrong, Judy Burris, Donna Costa, Louise Rose, Mary Wade and Rhonda Gragg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Jack L. Pickerel; two sisters, Nancy Haught and Vicki Stone; and infant sister, Penny.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donors charity of choice.
