Pamela K. Schopp

Pamela K. Schopp, age 79, of Alliance, passed away on January 9, 2023.

She was born on February 15, 1943, in Alliance, to William I. and Rosalia M. (Schiffer) Walter.

She graduated from Central Catholic High School in Canton and St. Thomas School of Nursing in Akron. She also attended Akron University.

She worked at Alliance Community Hospital as a charge nurse on the medical surgery floor for 26 years and as a nurse at Surgery Alliance for 9 years.

Pamela was a member of Flower Arrangers in Alliance, Hills and Dales Gardeners, Coterie Club, Castle Crusaders, the Alliance Country Club Ladies Golf Association, the Former Alliance Women’s Club and the Flowers Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, playing golf, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Pamela also loved watching her grandchildren at all of their sporting events.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, David (Pamela) Schopp, Kristen (James) Anderson, Rob Schopp; five grandchildren, Hannah Moeglin, Jarrod Schopp, Jordan Anderson, Cooper Anderson and Ryan Schopp; and one sister, Patricia I. (Barry) Ketterer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 16th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Luzecky of Faith Family Church officiating. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
