With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Niklas Robert Wagner, who left this world on September 18, 2025, at the age of 48.
Niklas was a man of steadfast devotion to his family and his country.
A proud veteran, Niklas served his nation with honor and courage as a member of the United States Navy, retiring in 2017 after 20 years of dedicated service. His time in uniform reflected his unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms he cherished.
Above all, Niklas’s heart belonged to his family. He was the beloved husband of Lydia nee Schott, with whom he built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. His five children; Caden, Caleb, Brady, Emalyn, and Dylan, were the pride and joy of his life. Niklas was a patient teacher, a tireless supporter, and a father whose quiet strength and gentle wisdom will guide his children for years to come.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Robert (Pamela) Wagner, and Susan (John) Gravesen, who nurtured his generous spirit; by his devoted sisters Wendy, Abbey, Robin, Elizabeth, and Leanna; and by his many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Nik.
Fair winds and following seas, Nik. Your mission is complete, and your love lives on.
