Nancy Jane Patterson

Nancy Jane Patterson, age 104, of Alliance, passed away on August 22, 2022.

She was born on June 26, 1918 in Peru, Indiana to Raymond G. and Armeda (Laudenschlager) Long.

Nancy graduated from Manchester College and Mount Union College. Nancy was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association and member of Christ United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

Nancy enjoyed spending time outside; she was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.

Her greatest joy in life came from her family and spending time with all of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Isabelle Redmon, granddaughter, Cathi Jo, son-in-law, Joe, and nephew Mike Redmon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Saundra Castellucci; grandsons, Chris (Jody) Castellucci, Ben (Stacey) Castellucci, nieces Nancy (Paul) Fultz, and Sonja Redmon, and great-granddaughters, Isabelle, Abigail, and Cierra.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the chapel at Christ United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio 44705.
