Melva Yonna Zuppe

Melva Yonna Zuppe, age 93, passed away on March 16, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1932, in Derwent, Ohio, to Harvey Ray and Arthona (McCarty) Poland.

Melva attended Alliance High School and formerly worked at Stern and Mann’s. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Anthony J. (Lorin) Zuppe, John T. (Brenda) Zuppe, and Samuel L. Zuppe; grandchildren, Anthony J. (Krista) Zuppe, Hannah, Jenna, Kevin, Bryce, and Brianna Marie Zuppe; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Avery Zuppe; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony D. Zuppe; brother, Merle Poland; and sisters, Inice Yeager and Glenna Migal.

A private family service was held. Interment was at Highland Memorial Park.
