Melinda M. Young, age 54, passed away on November 23, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was born on April 9, 1969, in Canton, Ohio, to Winslow and Robbie Young.
Melinda graduated from Alliance High School in 1988. She then attended The University of Akron, Central State University and Howard University in Washington DC.
Melinda worked at the Atlanta Airport. She attended New Zion Baptist Church where she was a junior usher and sang in the choir. Melinda was a member of Girls Assembly sponsored by Amaranth Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents and her sister, Sherese.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Young.
A service will be held at Alliance City Cemetery Chapel on Saturday, March 2nd at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Joyce Williams will officiate.
