Mary K. Hahn

 Mary K. (Gray) Hahn, age 94, passed away on Thursday June 27, 2024 at Crandall Medical Center with her family by her side. 

 She was born on September 23, 1929, in Alliance, to John E and Mabelle (Maxwell) Gray.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Mary spent her younger years working at Thompson’s and Woolworths before staying home to take care of her family and providing daycare for many other children.

She was a lifetime member of First Christian Church where she taught children’s Sunday School often singing ‘Jesus Loves Me’ to the children.

Mary also enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, completing jigsaw puzzles and the color pink. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Kathy Strong, Dianne (Lou) Henderson, Tim (Kathy) Hahn, Pam (Gordon) Mayer and Tom (Amy) Hahn; grandchildren, Aimee and Bradley Strong, Jeremy and Jason Hahn, Lisa (Bo) Rounds, Gina (David) Keifer, Kelly Mayer, Mason (Lydia) Hahn, Taryn Hahn and Catie (Brian) Semer; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Martha Barker; and many relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ralph G. Hahn, who passed away in 1988.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Sue DeHoff officiating. Friends may call from 3:30 to 4:30 prior to the service.

Mary had a colorful spirit to match her love of pink. If you would like to wear something colorful to celebrate her life, her family encourages it.
