Mark Richard Anstine

Mark R. Anstine, 65, of Alliance, died Sunday, September 20, 2026 following a long, brave battle with cancer. His wife, Stacy (Watson) Anstine, whom he married in 1985, was by his side.

Before his retirement in June, Mark had been a loyal and dedicated 20+ year Meat Department employee at Giant Eagle in Alliance. He was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church and a 1977 graduate of Marlington High School.

Mark was the son of the late Richard L. Anstine and the late Sherry (Reeder) Anstine. In addition to his wife Stacy, he is survived by two brothers, Mike (Jill) Anstine of Alliance and Matt (Sue) Anstine of Alliance, two sisters-in-law, Karen (Reid) Tarves of Guilford Lake and Debbie Jones of Alliance, along with several nieces and nephews.

Per his request, there will be no services or calling hours. A private committal service at Highland Memorial Park will be held prior to entombment.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Stone Creek Assisted Living for their kindness and care of Mark during his illness.
