Marcia “Marcy” (Smith) Lillis left this world to be with Jesus, her lord and savior.
Marcia touched everyone she met. She was the essence of grace, compassion, and dignity through a very difficult diagnosis of ALS. She persevered from major spine surgery that rendered her unable to walk without assistance. When the ALS caused her to become wheelchair bound, she remained hopeful, cheerful, and retained her optimism and sense of humor to the bitter end.
Marcia is survived by her husband Steve, step-daughter Anne (Andy); sister, Sandy; brother, Scott, special cousin, Jan Johnson Polczynski (Tom); nieces, Audrina, Lisa, and Kristen; and nephew Craig.
Marcia graduated from Riverside High School in California. She then received a degree in accounting from The Ohio State University.
For 36 years, Marcia was CEO of Premier One Credit Union in Sunnyvale, California, where she was frequently recognized for her outstanding service. In retirement she worked at White House/Black Market where she touched many co-workers and customers with her flair for fashion.
Marcy will be sorely missed by her husband and caregiver Steve.
A memorial service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, May 31st at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior.
