SEBRING, Ohio – Lynn Ann “Lynnie” (Cameron) Sullivan, 71, passed away of natural causes on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, in Sebring.
Born June 14, 1954, at Alliance Community Hospital, Lynn was the daughter of James Dale and Mary Ann (Papadeonise) Cameron. She graduated from Sebring High School and later attended the University of Mount Union. Lynn spent her career working for the State of Ohio until her retirement. She married Paul Sullivan, whom she deeply loved, and remained devoted to him until his passing in 2014 from cancer.
Lynn had a special love for animals—especially dogs. Her heart dog was Abbie, her beloved Australian Cattle Dog rescue. For many years, Lynn volunteered with the pet therapy group Paws and Reflect, bringing comfort to patients in hospitals and nursing homes, and to Mount Union students during stressful exam seasons.
She cherished time with her friends, who truly became family, and enjoyed gardening, crafting, and coffee. Though she once won a childhood Betty Crocker competition, she often joked that she hated cooking. Lynn was exceptionally intelligent, quick-witted, and strong in both spirit and character.
As an only child, Lynn shared an exceptionally close bond with her parents. In recent years, she and her mother grew even closer, spending their days side by side and supporting one another through life’s changes.
Lynn is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Cameron; her cherished dog, Abbie; her stepdaughter, Erin (David) Daniels; step-granddaughters, Sarah and Kate Daniels; treasured family friends Deanna and Justin McFarland and their children—Jaden, Lexi, and Mason—along with many other beloved relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Paul Sullivan, and her father, James Dale Cameron.
Honoring Lynn’s wishes, there will be no funeral, calling hours, or memorial service—“no big hoopla,” as she always said. She will be cremated. Arrangements are entrusted to Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home in Alliance.
Those who wish to honor Lynn may make a donation to the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association, the organization from which she adopted her sweet Abbie. Donations can be made at acdra.org/donate.
