Lynda Marie Kestner

Lynda Kestner passed away on March 23, 2026, from pancreatic cancer. She was 66. 

Lynda was born in Sebring, OH to the late Sandra (Strayer) Manypenny and Charles Manypenny. 

She was a graduate of Sebring High School (1978) and The University of Akron (1982), and worked as a Registered Nurse for 43 years. She retired in 2025.

Lynda enjoyed working in her flower beds, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her father, Charlie Manypenny and stepmother, Cynthia Carlin, as well as her brother Chuck (Angie) Manypenny, her sister, Kathy (Ramon) Cruz, her three sons, Michael (Emily Tomusko), Adam (Britney Balas), and Andrew (Elizabeth), as well as six grandchildren, Noah, Emery, Kaiden, Mayzie, Brently, and David. 

She will be sorely missed. Rest easy, Mama Bear.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. 

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
