Luella A. Morocco

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Luella A. Morocco who left us on March 27, 2026 at the age of 72.

Luella (Lueann) devoted her life to education, shaping not only young minds but also the hearts and futures of countless students. As an educator, she believed in the power of knowledge, kindness, and perseverance. Her classroom was a place of encouragement and inspiration, where every child felt seen, valued, and capable of success. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched throughout her career.

Beyond her professional life, Lueann was the heart of her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to Frank Morocco Jr. guiding him with wisdom, patience, and unconditional love. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Dominic and Dylan Morocco, who will forever cherish her warmth, stories, laughter, and the special moments they shared together.

Lueann is survived by her mother, Margaret Leslie; her husband, Frank Morocco; her son, Frank Morocco Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Rachael Morocco (Zanotti); and her grandsons, Dominic and Dylan Morocco.

She was preceded in death by her father, Naton D. Leslie Sr. and her brother, Naton D. Leslie Jr.

Calling hours will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, April 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm with a service following at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Marlington Alumni Association scholarship fund reflecting her lifelong commitment to education and community.

Though she is no longer with us, her lessons, love, and spirit will continue to guide us every day.
