Lucille E. (Morlan) Allen, age 97, of Alliance, died at 7:09 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1914 in Brazil, Indiana to Jessie and Edna (Cox) Morlan.
Lucille had been employed by O'Neils Department Store and had been a bookkeeper for Ruff Floor Covering. She was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church and the Women's Auxillary of Canton McKinley Eagles. Lucille enjoyed reading ,working crossword puzzles, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her two daughters, Patricia McClellan of Canton and Marilyn (Richard) Krahling of Alliance; step-son Roy L. (Shirley) Allen of Masury; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Escott of Brazil, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; infant daughter, Margeret Louise; grandson, Kyle Krahling and five brothers.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 , at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. David Andrews officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
