Lester J. Barber

Lester J. Barber, age 89, of Alliance, passed away at 2:28 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Aultman Hospital.
He was born November 12, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lee and Fannie (Singleton) Barber.
Lester was a mechanic and had retired as a Lexington Township Fire Chief.
Survivors include Lynn (Jimmie) Davis and Sherry (Steven) Edwards; three grandchildren, Robert Dietz III, Kevin Meyers and Bette (Nick) Marsili; great-grandson, Nicholas Marsili; two sisters, Carol (Steve) Gbur and Katherine Cherness; and a brother, Lee Barber Jr.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his first wife, Tillie who died in 1972 and second wife, Janet who died in 2010; twin sister, Esther and a brother, Charles Becker.
Per Lester's request, no services will be held. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
