Leonard Paul Mapes

Leonard Paul Mapes, age 80, of Alliance, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 24, 2023.

He was born on November 27, 1942, in Canton, Ohio.

Leonard was a 1960 graduate or Lincoln High School. He served 4 years in the United States Airforce. Leonard retired in 2002 as the Senior Executive of Sears Credit after 35 years. He has a bible degree from Liberty Home Bible Institute and was very active in church ministry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Anna Ruth Fletcher Mapes; two sons, Grant and Greg Mapes; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Olive Hanna; and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held at First Brethren Church, 27333 Main Street, North Georgetown, Ohio,  on March 4th at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Joel Soza will officiate.
