Leo Burgess, age 81, of Sebring, passed away at 6:27 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Crandall Medical Center.
He was born June 29, 1938, in Akron, Ohio to Leo R. and Elizabeth (Kenney) Burgess.
Leo had worked as a Walmart Sales Associate.
He was of the Catholic faith and member of the Alliance Senior Center.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Lee (Strecker) Burgess whom he married September 23, 1978; stepdaughters, Rhonda Hollinger and Jodene Porter; several nieces and nephews; three step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
A private memorial service will be held.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, OH 44601.
