Lawrence E. Yeager

Lawrence E. Yeager, age 79, of Atwater, passed away on August 17, 2022.

He was born on September 22, 1942 in Wayne Township, PA to Ray M. and Anne Marie (Dickey) Yeager.

Larry graduated from Leetonia High School. He worked for East Manufacturing and Trail Star as a welder and truck mechanic. Larry served honorably in the United States Army. He was a member of VFW Post 1055 in Ravenna. Larry enjoyed gardening and tractor pulls. He also collected tractors and liked to tinker in the garage.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Linda L. (Dickens) Yeager; his son, Michael E. Yeager; three nieces; and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Glen R. Yeager, Dale E. Yeager, Vivian M. Yeager, William M. Yeager and Virginia (Yeager) Brush.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
