Larry V. Welling

Larry V. Welling, age 77, passed away on January 19, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1948, in Alliance, to Charles M. and Lavinia (Riggs) Welling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy L. Welling; children, Larry A. Welling, Darlene M. (Thad) Dearth and Amy L. (Porter) Loving; grandchildren, TJ and Travis Dearth and Tyler, Alisha and Dylan Sammons; step-grandchild, Chris Loving; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Kay, Carol, Diana, and Brenda; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 27th at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
