Kimberly Marie Copeland, age 55, of Alliance died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born August 28, 1957, in Alliance, to Charles R. and Georgette (Tormasi) Copeland and has resided most of her life in Alliance.
A 1975 graduate of Alliance High School she was co-owner of Network Video and worked for Famous Distributing Warehouse in Beloit.
Kimberly enjoyed reading, cooking and being with her family and was also excited about the arrival of her first grandchild. Always the life of the party, Kim was a problem solver and loved a good challenge.
She is survived by her parents; daughters, Kelly J. Presley of North Carolina and Angela M. Presley of Alliance; brother, Rex A. Copeland of Alliance; and several nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George O. Hughes.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday September 27, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Stonebraker officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
