Kent William Walter

Kent William Walter, age 70, passed away on October 3, 2023.

He was born on November 23, 1952, in Alliance, to Floyd Sr. and Frances (Formby) Walter.

Kent worked for, then owned, Walter Heating and Cooling, a company started by his father in 1942, until his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Alliance for over 50 years. Kent enjoyed hiking out west, playing cards and bowling at Parkway Lanes.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary (Mirolak) Walter; brothers, Carl (Jo) Walter and Clark (Connie Friend) Walter; sister-in-law, Henrietta (Bill) Kleinhoff; one niece; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, October 7^th at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.

Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
