Katherine A. Schultz 68, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side January 25, 2026.

Kathy was born February 27, 1957 in North Carolina. She grew up in Akron and worked as a waitress at Winks and the Ido.

Kathy loved going to car shows with her husband and friends. She loved spending time with her family and playing board games. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts and sewing.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Schultz and her parents, Lloyd and Carolyn Schlupe.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristi (Gary) Sitosky; sons, Jeremy (Christina) Loar, Steve (Brandi) Loar, Bradford (Crystal) Loar; brother, Rick; sister, Dee Dee; niece, Marie; nephew, Robbie; grandchildren, Spencer, Julia, Hailey, Jeremy, Allie, Steven, Tre, Kristen, Erica, Austin, Autumn, Toni, and Chase; 11 great-grandchildren; and her very special loving friend, Janet.

Calling hours will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a service immediately following.
