Karen Sue Hood, age 61, passed away on April 11, 2024.
She was born on September 14, 1962, in Alliance, to Chester and Chloris (Mowen) Moreland.
Karen graduated from Minerva High School in 1980 and served in the United States Air Force. She loved music and movies.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, William Hood, Kyle McClenny, and Ashley McClenny Pomerene; five grandchildren, Lillian Loss, Zoey Loss, Cameron Loss, Jolene Pomerene, and Logan McClenny; and six siblings, Chester Moreland, James (Patty) Moreland, Cheryl (Dave) Crawford, Diane Kmatz, Jo Anne (Arthur) McMahan, and Deborah (Charles) Conway.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held for immediate family on Thursday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Riverwood Chapel, 1407 Fairchild Ave Kent, Ohio 44240.
