Joshua Scott Beorn

Joshua Scott Beorn, age 17, passed away on July 30, 2026.

He was born on November 21, 2008, in Alliance, to Jacob Beorn and Kelly (Morrison) Shoffner.

Josh graduated from Southgate MRDD. He enjoyed going for walks, and watching true crime shows, Cops, and wrestling. Josh also loved to swim and people watch. He had an infectious smile.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother, AJ Beorn; sister, Hannah Harris; maternal grandparents, Chuck (Kathy) Morrison; paternal grandparents, Randy (Louise) Beorn; uncle, Randy Michael; step-dad, Tim Johnson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and beloved dog, Ruger.

Visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday August 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
