Joseph A. “Bud” Gimbara, age 81, of Alliance, died Friday, November 26, 2021 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born August 17, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Margaret (Gaul) Gimbara.
A 1958 graduate of Alliance High School, Bud joined the United States Army right out of high school.
He retired after 30 years of service from Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant, working as a tow-motor operator.
Bud enjoyed going to flea markets, but loved being PopPop and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Gabbel) Gimbara, whom he married in 1966; children, Cheryl Kunz and James Gimbara; sister, Patricia Lee; and granddaughters, Emily Lair and Libby Bagley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bob, and younger sister, Peggy.
Per Bud’s wishes, a private interment will be held.
