John K. Jackson, age 75, passed away on August 1, 2026.
He was born on March 2, 1951, in Alliance, to John Jackson II and Dorothy Mylar.
John graduated from Sebring McKinley High School in 1970. He worked as the Maintenance Supervisor at Carnation Mall for 20 years.
John managed Hot Stove Baseball for 8 years and umpired for 9 years. He also coached baseball and softball in multiple leagues. John was also known for his talent playing basketball in local leagues. He loved to go fishing and golfing with friends, play his stereo and take care of his landscaping. John was an avid Buckeye and Massillon Tiger’s fan and never missed a game.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amy (Adam) Houston; sons, John (Cheryl) Jackson and Mark Jackson; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his two best friends, Dale Umbs and Steve Zepernick.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring on Friday, August 7th at 1:00 p.m.
