John F. Holsopple

John F. Holsopple, age 67, passed away on September 27, 2023 at his home.

He was born on December 18, 1955, in Alliance, to Forest M. and Marie Mae (Altop) Holsopple.

He graduated from Marlington High School in 1974. John was the owner operator of John Holsopple Milk Transport.

He was an avid golfer and bowler and belonged to several leagues. John enjoyed spending time with his dogs and always helped the farmers he served in any way he could.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lois (Bergdorf) Holsopple; sister, Kim Duchon; brother, Mark Holsopple; five step-children, Paul, James, Ed, Robby and Renae; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin Holsopple.  

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, October 9^th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
