John Davidson

John Davidson, age 83, passed away on November 23rd, 2025. He was born on March 13th, 1942, in Alliance, to James and Wilma (Reynolds) Davidson.

Since 1975, John had been the owner of Davidson Water Well Drilling LLC, a business started by his father in 1940.

John attended Beechwood Global Methodist Church. He was a member of the National Ground Water Association, the Ohio Water Well Association, the National Hot Rod Association, and the National Riflemen’s Association. John also loved drag racing and watching his grandchildren play all of their sports.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sally A. (Bogovich) Davidson; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susanne Davidson; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kim Davidson; grandsons, Kyle Davidson, Trevor Davidson, and Bryce Davidson; granddaughter, Megan Zucal (John); great-granddaughters, Alayna Davidson and Leah Davidson; brother, Jim (Karen) Davidson; sisters, Maxine McIlvain and Wendy Davidson; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter, Debra Ann.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Beechwood Global Methodist Church, 3450 Beechwood Ave, Alliance, OH 44601. Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
