John J. Costa

John J. Costa, age 72, of Canton, passed away on July 5, 2022.

He was born on June 7, 1950 in Salem, Ohio to Alex and Alice (Galchick) Costa.

John graduated from West Branch High School. He worked at Sekely Tool and Die for most of his life and was also employed by Gestamp North America Inc. in South Carolina. John was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in North Georgetown. He enjoyed paint balling and video gaming. John was also a comic book and Batman enthusiast. More than anything, John loved spending time with his family and was a great father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cassandra Costa; his children, Bill Costa, Kim (Matt) Savula and Brian Costa; his grandchildren, Lindsay Costa, Brittney Costa and Maximilian Savula; and his brothers, Alex and Dave Costa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m. with Nancy Castellucci officiating.
