John Brodzinski Jr., age 96, passed away on May 13, 2026. He was born on October 13, 1929, in Adena, Ohio, to John Sr. and Katherine (Kowalczyk) Brodzinski.
John worked as an electrician for Morgan Engineering and later the Ford Motor Company for 36 years until his retirement in 1992.
John was a member of the Washington Ruritans and enjoyed gardening. He was also a member of Freeburg Church of the Brethren and the Mcfadden Lodge Alliance Masonic Temple. John served honorably in the Korean War.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Lynn (Kim); grandchildren, James French, Jeffrey (Phillip) French, Jon (Emily) Brodzinski, and Jennifer (Jamie) Perna; great-grandchildren, Madison, Noah, McKenzie, Joshua, Jillian, Riley, Ellie and Taylor; brother, Joe (Martha); and sister, Virginia Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joanne; daughter, Vicki French; brothers, William and Henry; and sisters, Helen, Wanda, and Elizabeth.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 18th at 12:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park.
