Joanne Allison

Joanne Allison, age 79, passed away on July 3, 2024.

She was born on October 25, 1944, in Youngstown, to Oliver and Lois (Lingafelt) Dressel.

Joanne graduated from Chaney High School in 1962 and Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. She then worked as a nurse for 44 years until her retirement from Alliance Hospital in 2011. Joanne was also a member and EMT with the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department. She attended Silver Park Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Peterson; siblings, Richard Dressel, Donna (Scott) Parker, James E. Dressel and Jinbo Li (Dale) Dressel; four grandchildren, Daniel M. Davis, Tanner Davis, Ethan Davis and Kate Davis; three great-grandchildren, Karina, Jackson, and Makenzie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel G. Davis; brothers, Robert, Ronald and Dale; and a sister-in-law, Heidi Dressel.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation an hour prior.
