Joan Isabel Triplett

Joan Isabel Triplett, age 93, of Alliance, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 at her home.

She was born September 4, 1929 in Bolton, Ohio to Adam F. and Wilma C. (Kegg) Martin.

Joan graduated from Goshen High School and had worked as a cook for the former Gary’s Colonial House, College Inn, and deli clerk at Jay’s.

She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Beloit, and enjoyed volunteering at Alliance Community Hospital.

Joan will be missed by her family, including her daughter, Jackie (George Tomlin) Edwards; sons, Mark (Joyce) Creamer, and Jeffrey Creamer; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Richard Triplett, whom she married August 21, 1966 and who died March 27, 1996; her brothers, Perry, Paul and Eugene Martin; sisters, Virginia Betts and Flora Gardner; and daughters, Kim Caldwell and Cheryl Gandee.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lanham of Turning Point Baptist Church officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 15th at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
