Jerry B. Sandifer

Jerry B. Sandifer, age 87, passed away on June 22, 2023.

He was born on June 28, 1936 to J. Earl and Betty (Brown) Sandifer.

Jerry received his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and went on to earn his Master’s at The University of Iowa. He worked as a mechanical engineer at B&W for over 30 years. Jerry served honorably in the United States Army.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Gary L. and Stuart E. (Dayanna) Sandifer; and his grandson, Andrew Sandifer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy A. (Hilsmier) Sandifer; and his sons, Brian and Alan Sandifer.

A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Moultrie Cemetery.
