Jerry L. Freedman

Jerry L. Freedman, age 74, of Alliance, passed away at 6:30 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016, at Canterbury Villa after a long illness.
He was born April 13, 1941, in Alliance, Ohio, to Howard and Irene (Phillimore) Freedman and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Jerry was a 1960 graduate of Alliance High School and was employed as a lineman for AT&T in the Alliance/Canton area.
He enjoyed going to lunch daily with his friends at Heggy's.
Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his sister, Carol Kazleman; nephew, Bill Kazleman (fiancé, Mary); two great-nephews, Robert Richards and Kaleb Kazleman; and a great-niece, Haylee Grimes, all of Alliance.
No services will be held.
