Jeffery W. Klinginsmith

Jeffery W. Klinginsmith, age 63, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. He was born on November 18, 1962, in Akron, to William and Helen (Pierce) Klinginsmith.

Jeff served honorably in the United States Army and was a self-employed jack of all trades.

Always willing to help someone in need, Jeff enjoyed hunting, sweet tea and playing fetch with his dog Jinx. He will be fondly remembered for his inventions and sense of humor.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cathy (Pritchard) Klinginsmith; children, Angela Miller, Brandon (Megan) Klinginsmith, Brynnlynn (Chloe) Fleming and Bruce (Ashley) Klinginsmith; brother, Bill Klinginsmith; sister, Debbie Wilson; one step brother; and two step sisters; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Carmen Pritchard; and his best friend, Phillip Pompeo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step father Don Huff; step mother, Marie Klinginsmith; three step sisters; and father-in-law, Bruce Pritchard.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Marlboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
