Jean K. Mabry, age 75, passed away on July 8, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 17, 1950, in Alliance, to Eldis R. Zeller Sr. and Helen (Stryffeler) Carnahan.
Jean graduated from Marlington High School in 1969. She worked for several years at Sherwood Manufacturing and then at Venetra Manufacturing for 17 years until her retirement. Jean was an active member of the Women of the Moose Alliance Chapter 421.
Jean enjoyed bowling and belonged to several leagues. She also liked to golf and sew.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Leslie Lynn (Zeller) Leaf; two sisters, Edythe Jackson and Linda (Guy) Johnson; brother, Eldis “Butch” Zeller; two step-daughters, Missy (Paul) Brubach and Teresa Mabry; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, her husband Oscar “Junior” Mabry Jr.; and brother, Lynn Allen Zeller.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
