Janice L. Hallman, age 88 of Alliance, peacefully passed away at 7:35am Thursday February 15, 2024 with her family at her side.
She was born January 8, 1936 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Ralph and Kate Widmer.
Janice and Elden Married on February 14, 1957. She is survived by three children, Lynne Hallman, Susan Cosma, Jim (Cheryl) Hallman; three grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Elden; son-in-law, Mark Cosma; and grandson Ross Hallman.
Janice was an avid gardener; she loved working in her yards and spending time with her family. She and Elden spent many years wintering in Florida, golfing, and playing cards with friends. Janice was a member of Damascus Friends Church.
Special thanks to Donna Raush, Kim “Artie,” Destiny, Carrie, and Jimmy, the house emotional support puppy all who provided loving care to Janice. Also, to Roger Olds, who faithfully called and encouraged her two to three times daily over the last three years. Additional thanks to Kendra, Crystal, and the Alliance Hospice staff for their care of Janice.
