Helen (Lutz) Potts

Helen L. (Lutz) Potts, age 85, of Alliance, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at her home at Copeland Oaks.
She was born August 24, 1926, in Alliance, to Levi D. and Priscilla (Zonker) Lutz.
A 1944 graduate of Alliance High School, Helen worked at Alliance Country Club as an assistant office manager for 18 years.
Helen was a life member of the First Christian Church, Senior Disciples of Christ, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Jane Bain Chapter and enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her cats.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Potts, whom she married June 23, 1946; children, Robert (Jeffra) Potts of N. Canton, Richard (Linda) Potts of Homeworth and Gary (Susan) Potts of Alliance; grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Kristina and Jeffery Potts; and four great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Levi Lutz; half-sister, Beatrice Rastetter; and half-brother, Clarence Lopez.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at First Christian Church with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 1141 W. Beech St., Alliance. Ohio 44601.
