Harry "Lee" Weibush, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and known to most simply as "Poppy," passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.

Lee was born on July 5, 1947 to Harry Lee Weibush, Sr. and Antoinette Marie Boschini Weibush, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mildred Johnson.

A 1965 graduate of Marlington High School, Lee spent much of his working life as a skilled mason, taking pride in creating things built to last. He was respected by all who knew him for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and quiet strength. Lee was also a proud member of American Legion Post 166.

Lee shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kathy, who was the love of his life and his constant companion. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his daughter, Jodi, and her husband, Scott Fellers; his son, Michael, and his wife, Krissy Wei bush; his grandchildren, Maggie (Fellers) Sabatino and her husband Anthony, Jillian Fellers, and Tyler Morrissey; and his treasured grand pups, Annie and Bear.

He is also survived by his sisters, Dona Yaggi, Valerie Higgins and her husband, Michael, and Leann Cosgray; his brother-in-law, Gary Mayes and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Lee loved his granddaughters and called them “his girls” and was their biggest fan, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on at their volleyball games. He found peace in the woods he loved, joy in watching hummingbirds visit his yard, and comfort in the home he built with his own hands. He enjoyed football, especially cheering for Alabama ("Roll Tide!") and the Steelers-watching westerns, and spending time with family and friends.

An old soul with a kind heart, Lee valued simple pleasures, hard work, and meaningful relationships. He was a loyal friend to many and a steady presence in the lives of those who knew him. His greatest joy was his family, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and countless cherished memories.

In accordance with Lee's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date, and additional details will be shared as they become available.

The family invites all who knew and loved Lee to honor his memory by spending time with those they cherish, enjoying the beauty of nature, and appreciating the simple pleasures that brought him so much happiness.
