Harold L. Howell

Harold L. Howell, age 89, passed away on April 17, 2026. He was born on September 4, 1936, in Bloomingdale, Ohio, to Frederick and Margaret (Newburn) Howell.

Harold graduated from Carrollton High School in 1952. He worked at Alliance Drop Forge for over 20 years and then as a custodian for Regal Metal Company. Harold was a member of Augusta Christian Church, the Jaycees, Odd Fellows, and Eagles. He enjoyed woodworking and camping.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife whom he married January 7, 1995, Mary Howell; children, Marla S. (Mark) Berkley, Cheryl (Chris) Davis, Todd L. (Kelly) Howell and Tricia (Dave) Hippley; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Darrel and Dale Howell; sisters-in-law, Linda Howell and Barb Cargill; brother-in-law, Mark Cargill; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Martha; second wife, Margaret; brothers, Galen, Frederick, Mark, and Charles; and sister, Carol.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25th at Centerville Village (1082 Kensington Rd NE, Carrolton, Ohio) from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
