Grace R. Boehm, age 93 of Alliance, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 2:50 p.m. at McCrea Manor.
She was born August 29, 1911 in Cleveland to Joseph and Katherine Laura (Klima) Frantz and had lived in Alliance since 1988.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in Cleveland.
Mrs. Boehm was a Secretary for Broadview Baptist Church in Cleveland, where she was a member, and retired in 1981. She was also a Sunday school teacher for 58 years and was a former member of the Board of Deaconesses, past Chairman of children's work and became the first woman on the Church Board of Trustees.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Schafer of Alliance, three granddaughters, Jennifer, Holly and Heather, one great-grandson Xavier, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jacob Boehm, whom she married April 22, 1930 and who died March 5, 1988, and one sister Florence L. Fitch.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hostetler officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
