Goldie B. Summers

Goldie B. (Fryfogle) Summers, 98 of Alliance passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Brookdale Senior Living in Alliance.

Goldie was born September 24, 1927 in Beloit, Ohio to John and Martha (Waffler) Fryfogle.

She married Raymond Summers on August 18, 1948 and worked for Alliance Manufacturing, Washington Elementary School cafeteria and Summers Construction.

Goldie was a member of Beechwood Methodist Church and enjoyed making hundreds of pies, many wedding cakes, catering and hosting holiday dinners.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Randy (Tammy) and Ron; two granddaughters, Kristin Bellay and Kelli (Jason) Skelding; and three great-granddaughters, Ryleigh Cannon, Maggie Skelding and Jolene Skelding.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; daughter Lori Bellay; four sisters Erma Bauman, Lela Schneider, Velma Fryfogle, Thelma “Mickey” Liebhart; brother, John K. Fryfogle; and four half-brothers Herman, Lloyd, Clarence and Harold Owsalt.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September26, 2026 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. William Kremer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beechwood Methodist Church.
