Everett Gandee

Everett Gandee, age 93, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born on April 7, 1932, in Wellford, West Virginia, to Arlie and Audra (Payne) Gandee.

Everett worked in the brickyard at Alliance Clay Products for over 20 years then in the shop at Transue Williams. He was a member of Wesleyn Methodist Church. Everett served honorably in the Korean War.

Everett loved wood working and made over 30 violins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Richard (Cindy) Gandee and Rodney Gandee; grandchildren, Tiffany (Greg) Roar and Danielle (Aaron) Paxson; great-grandchildren, Raygan Paxson and Leif Everett Paxson; sister, Loretta Blackwell and Faith Baringer; and cousin, Kathelene Ashley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Evelyn Gandee.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28th from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 29th at 11:00 a.m.
