Evelyn Gandee

Evelyn Gandee, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family. 

She was born on December 29, 1933, in Senecaville, Ohio, to Ross and Jean (Salter) Williams.

Evelyn worked in the cafeteria at Alliance City Schools. She also worked at Peoples Book Store, her favorite job. Evelyn attended Wesleyan Methodist Church. 

Evelyn enjoyed reading, sewing, canning, baking, and spending time with her family. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 73 years, Everett Gandee; her sons, Richard (Cindy) Gandee and Rodney Gandee; grandchildren, Tiffany Gandee and Danielle (Aaron) Paxson; great-grandchildren, Raygan Paxson and Leif Everett Paxson; and brother, Donivan (Judy) Williams. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Williams.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, May 10^th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Pastor Justin Vance will officiate. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
