Evelyn Marie (Johnson) Campbell, age 86, of Alliance died at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Canterbury Villa.
She was born May 5, 1926, in Alliance, to Clarence and Mabel Jeanette (Baggley) Johnson and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Evelyn graduated from Alliance High School and was formerly employed by Alliance Manufacturing during WW2.
Survivors include her two daughters, Margie Ellen (David) Chick of Pasadena, CA., Lois Jean (Daniel) Miller of Alliance; three grandchildren, Robert, Sarah and Seth; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Kaleb; and sister, Doris M. Gabrielson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William E. Campbell, whom she married March 3, 1946 and who died June 29, 2009.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. David Bloor officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
