Elaine Mae Carpenter

Elaine Mae Carpenter, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

She was born on December 28, 1950, in Ravenna, OH to James and Margaret (Jenkins) Hill.

A graduate of Southeast High School, Elaine retired from Coastal Pet Products.

She was a member of Mountain of the Lord Foursquare Church and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading her bible, sending cards to her many friends and family members and roller skating in her youth.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jodie Garvin-Ormiston, twins, Jonette (Jeff) Martin and Janie Littleton, Diane (Chad) Church and Mary Jo (Jonathan) Mason; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Hill; and sisters, Evelyn Hughes and Marjory Marshall.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
