Edward William Bean

Edward William Bean, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2026. He was born on October 30, 1982 in Canton, Ohio to Russell and Sandra Bean. He graduated from Marlington High School before furthering his education at Stark State College where he earned his Associates Degree in Power Utility Technology.

Edward found great joy in jiu jitsu and worked hard to earn his black belt. He was a faithful member of Church of Christ in Hartville. In his free time, he loved to be with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and wrestling. He will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to know him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Tonya Bean; three children, Maddalyn, Aiden and Alexis Bean; parents, Russell and Sandra Bean; brother, Justin (Crystal) Bean; nephew and nieces, Ethan, Leah and Ellie Bean; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Pearl and Richard Vickers and Tryphena and Reed Bean; and mother-in-law, Katherine Griswold.

Per Edward's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life is planned for Wednesday, May 27, 2026. His services will be held at Marlboro Church of Christ (8533 Ravenna Ave NE, Louisville, OH 44641). Family and friends may visit from 3-5pm with his memorial service to begin at 5pm. All are welcome to stay for dinner following the service.
